Campus celebrates Arbor Day Friday
Mississippi State celebrates Arbor Day this Friday with a morning of activities. The university will be planting this month instead of the nationally-observed month of April because planting conditions for trees are better now.
Spirit of State nominations due Friday
With the sixth annual Spirit of State Awards, Mississippi State will recognize outstanding contributions made by students toward improving student life. All forms must be submitted online by Friday.
PCSW accepting Outstanding Women nominations
Nominations are now being accepted for the 2011 Outstanding Women Awards Program, sponsored by the President's Commission on the Status of Women. Nomination packets are due no later than Feb. 21.
Zac Brown Band performing on campus in April
The Zac Brown Band, a four-time 2010 Grammy Award nominee, will perform April 14 at a Mississippi State concert in the university amphitheater. Tickets go on sale this Friday.
