Facilities Management wants your input
The Mississippi State University Facilities Management team has distributed its annual survey via e-mail, and is looking forward to receiving valuable feedback about its performance in 2011.
"The 2010 survey results led to many improvements in overall operations," Executive Director of Campus Operations Amy Tuck said. "The 2011 survey will provide us with additional information as we continue to look for ways to maximize resources and provide superior customer service."
The campus-wide survey for 2011 was e-mailed to all faculty and staff in order to collect data on the condition of facilities, as well as the service the department is providing to the university. The survey will be available for three weeks for recipients to provide their input and comments.
In response to the 2010 survey comments, Facilities Management implemented a process whereby e-mail notifications are sent to provide status updates on service requests and online forms now provide an opportunity for customers to give feedback on work that has been completed.
In addition, Facilities Management is in the process of implementing a building assessment survey whereby technicians will assess facilities on a routine basis to ensure an appropriate level of service and maintenance.
"This data will allow us to better identify and correct maintenance issues in a timely manner as well as provide valuable information as to overall condition of each facility," Angela Waller, assistant director for business operations, said.
