Athletic Department launches official iPad app
The Mississippi State Athletic Department, in partnership with Bulldog Sports Properties and digital media partner NeuLion, Inc. (TSX:NLN), announced the launch of its official iPad application last Wednesday.
MSU is one of the first schools in the Southeastern Conference to have developed an iPad app.
The Mississippi State Athletics iPad app ($6.99) provides much of the information found on www.mstateathletics.com in a robust, interactive interface on the iPad. Among the info included is latest news, scores and schedules, and rosters for the diehard MSU fan's favorite Bulldog and Lady Bulldog teams.
In addition, live stats are available for selected sports.
Maroon to the Max, MSU's official video and audio portal for fans, is now also accessible through all devices as well. Fans with the premium apps on any of the devices can watch unlimited free video on demand. Fans with an active Maroon to the Max subscription can now listen to live audio on all the devices by logging in to their M2M account.
The iPad app joins Mississippi State's family of mobile applications, which now includes an iPhone app, an Android app, and now the iPad app.
In addition to those platform-specific apps, a mobile device enabled version of www.mstateathletics.com is also available. The mobile website delivers a condensed version of the official athletic site to provide latest news and quick updates to handheld devices. Mississippi State’s official athletic site is available on all web enabled devices by opening a browser and entering www.mstateathletics.com.
