Maroon Volunteer Center sets 9/11 'I WILL' events
In tribute to all of those who were lost, and the tens of thousands who rose in service, Sept. 11 has been designated as a National Day of Service and Remembrance.
As the country marks the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, the Maroon Volunteer Center has partnered with Volunteer Starkville to organize a number of events in support of the 9/11 I WILL Tribute campaign, and is encouraging students, faculty, staff and members of the community to pledge a good deed of service, participate in a charitable activity, or make other plans to honor 9/11 victims, survivors, and those that rose in service in response to the attacks.
