Laird elected CASE District III treasurer

Harriet Laird, associate director in the Office of Public Affairs at Mississippi State, has been elected treasurer for the Council for Advancement and Support of Education’s District III for 2015-17. CASE III is one of eight districts in North America, with each district having a volunteer board of directors to oversee operations, programming and services for members in that region.
The organization advances and supports educational institutions in the southeastern United States by enhancing the effectiveness of the alumni relations, fund raising, communications, marketing and other advancement professionals who serve them.
CASE III includes the nine states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.
