Barnes & Noble sets Thanksgiving Week hours
The Barnes & Noble Bookstore at Mississippi State has set hours for Thanksgiving Week.
The store will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday [Nov. 24] and Tuesday [Nov. 25]. On Wednesday [Nov. 26], it will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Barnes & Noble will be closed on Thanksgiving Day [Nov. 27], and reopen on Friday [Nov. 28] from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
It will also be open on Saturday [Nov. 29] from noon to 7 p.m., and on Sunday [Nov. 30] from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The bookstore encourages everyone to shop locally on Black Friday and Local Business Saturday. Shoppers who sign up to receive promotional emails and offers will automatically receive 25 percent off one Mississippi State apparel item in the store, and also receive a special Cyber Monday discount.
Regular business hours resume on Monday [Dec. 1].
On Saturday [Dec. 13], Santa Claus will visit the bookstore from 3-5 p.m. Children are invited to write their gift lists and enjoy cookies and milk with Santa. Parents, don't forget your camera.
Mississippi State faculty and staff will receive an additional 10 percent discount on Dec. 15 for a total of 20 percent off with a valid MSU employee I.D.
