'SEC Nation' to originate from the Junction Saturday
"SEC Nation," the SEC Network’s traveling college football morning show, will originate from the Junction on Saturday [Oct. 4] prior to Mississippi State’s Southeastern Conference home opener against No. 6 Texas A&M, the network announced last week.
The show airs live from 9-11 a.m., and will lead into the Bulldogs’ 11 a.m. kickoff against the Aggies on ESPN. The SEC Nation lineup features former NFL/SEC players Tim Tebow and Marcus Spears, host Joe Tessitore, talk radio host Paul Finebaum and reporter Kaylee Hartung.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early and wear maroon. Tickets for the MSU-A&M game are still available through HailState.com/Tickets. Tickets can also be purchased by calling 1-888-GO-DAWGS or in person at the MSU Athletic Ticket Office on the first floor of the Bryan Administration Building.
MSU, ranked 14th in the Associated Press poll and 16th in the USA Today Top 25, is off to a 4-0 start following a 34-29 win at LSU on Sept. 20. The Bulldogs recorded their first victory in Baton Rouge since 1991 led by the offensive trio of quarterback Dak Prescott, running back Josh Robinson and wide receiver Jameon Lewis.
A first quarter goal line stand by the MSU defense ignited the squad to its first road win over a top-10 team since a 27-23 triumph at No. 8 Tennessee on Sept. 13, 1986.
