Temporary closure to Bell Island for vehicles
Bell Island -- which includes Tracy Drive, Walker Road and a section of Lee Boulevard -- remains closed to vehicles because of an infrastructure improvement project related to construction of the new classroom building on Mississippi State University's Starkville campus.
Tracy Drive is closed at the entrance to the Lloyd-Ricks-Watson Building gated parking lot. Drivers are encouraged to exercise caution and adjust commuting routes accordingly.
This closure is expected to remain in place through Thursday [May 29}.
