Temporary closure to Bell Island for vehicles
On Sunday [May 11], Bell Island -- which includes Tracy Drive, Walker Road and a section of Lee Boulevard -- was closed to accommodate infrastructure improvements related to the construction of the new classroom building on Mississippi State University's Starkville campus.
Tracy Drive is closed at the entrance to the Lloyd-Ricks-Watson Building gated parking lot. This closure is expected to remain in place through May 21. Drivers are encouraged to exercise caution and adjust commuting routes accordingly.
