ITS plans maintenance for weekend
On Saturday [Feb. 22], beginning at 10 p.m., Information Technology Services at Mississippi State will be performing maintenance on the university’s storage area network (SAN) infrastructure.
This maintenance process will necessitate shutting down several servers, and causing outages for the following services:
-- Banner (Administrative Banner and myBanner, as well as BDMS)
-- GroupWise
-- Web server (most general and departmental web sites, but not www.msstate.edu)
-- myMedia
-- Jade, Topaz, Onyx and Jasper file servers
ITS expects to complete this maintenance process and have all affected services back online by 6 a.m. on Sunday [Feb. 23], and appreciates your patience as it performs this critical work.
