HRM, CERT offering emergency first aid information sessions
Human Resources Management at Mississippi State and the MSU Community Emergency Response Team will present interactive seminars on emergency first aid on Tuesday [May 3] and Wednesday [May 4]. Morning and afternoon sessions are scheduled for Colvard Student Union's Fowlkes Auditorium.
Basic first aid and disaster medical operations, including the treatment of shock, excessive bleeding, burns, wounds, fractures, dislocations, sprains, hypothermia and heat-related injuries, stings and bites, as well as the triage process and head-to-toe assessments, will be covered.
Please note: The seminars do not cover CPR or lead to first aid certification, and are offered for general information only.
