Richard Raymond, professor and head of Mississippi State’s Department of English, delivered the 2016 Rabideau Lecture for Teaching Excellence April 22 at Mitchell Memorial Library. The annual lecture honors Peter Rabideau, former MSU provost and founder of the Center for Teaching and Learning. IHL's Boyce featured speaker for commencement
Mississippi’s higher education commissioner will be featured speaker for both of Mississippi State’s 2016 spring graduation programs. “This will be a very meaningful commencement in that we’re honoring two of our most loyal alumni in Jim Rouse and Bud Thompson and our graduates will have a chance to hear a challenge from IHL Commissioner Glenn Boyce,” said MSU President Mark E. Keenum.
Applications sought for Faculty Leadership Program
The Office of Research and Economic and Development and the Office of the Provost and Executive Vice President will lead Mississippi State's Faculty Leadership Program in the upcoming 2016-2017 academic year, and applications are now being accepted for it.
Fordes share a moment at statewide PRAM meeting
Mississippi College communication graduate student Daniel Forde is pictured with his father, Mississippi State University Communication Department Chairman John Forde at the 2016 Public Relations Association of Mississippi conference. Professor Forde was among the guest speakers at the event in April. Daniel Forde received a bachelor's degree at Mississippi State and works on the Mississippi Department of Transportation's communications staff in Jackson.
