Series of Japanese cultural workshops start Thursday
The Japan Outreach Program at Mississippi State University will host a series of Japanese cultural workshops this month:
* Thursday [Oct. 2], 12:30-2 p.m. -- Calligraphy
* Oct. 8, 12:30-2 p.m. -- Kimono Wearing and Origami
* Oct. 15, 12:30-2 p.m. -- Tea Ceremony
Each session will be held at 210 Lloyd-Ricks-Watson Building.
Participants completing all of the workshops will receive and MSU Japan Outreach Cultural Certificate (Level 1), and also given a priority in Japan Outreach Program volunteer opportunities.
