Library exhibit commemorates MSU's 133rd
A new exhibit in Mitchell Memorial Library takes part in wishing Mississippi State University a happy 133rd birthday this month. Display cases are showcasing MSU's presidents, yearbooks, Mississippi State apparel and more memorabilia.
EASE participants gain knowledge
Participants in the 2010 Education for Administrative Support Employees sessions took advantage of the opportunity to boost their knowledge during the 10-week training program, which is designed to provide new administrative support staff with the tools to perform their jobs effectively.
Post Office reduces window hours for Spring Break
The MSU Post Office will have reduced window hours during Spring Break, March 14-18. Window hours for the week will be 9 a.m. to noon. Normal hours will resume March 21.

An editorial from The Clarion-Ledger notes that Mississippi faces significant losses if Congress moves forward with a so-called ban on earmarks: "At Mississippi State, for example, these annual competitively awarded 'earmarked' grants account for nearly 70 percent of the school's research funding."
