Reddy wins Outstanding Scientific Pub Award

Mississippi State University Plant and Soil Sciences professor K. Raja Reddy received the Outstanding Scientific Publication Award from the Mississippi Agricultural and Forestry Experiment Station during a recent award ceremony.
Published in the Journal of Photochemistry and Photobiology, Reddy's paper described metrics to predict drought tolerance in cowpeas, an important food crop through the developing world, among other items.
The paper was one of the most-frequently downloaded papers in the journal for three months.
George Hopper, director of the Experiment Station and dean of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, presented the award to Reddy.
