Institutional diversity, inclusion in focus March 21
Mississippi State University's Office of Diversity and Equity Programs, along with the Holmes Cultural Diversity Center, Bagley College of Engineering Diversity Programs and Student Development, National Pan-Hellenic Council, Interfraternity Council, and the President's Commission on the Status of Minorities, will sponsor a session focusing on institutional diversity and inclusion this month.
The keynote speaker will be Derek Greenfield, director of Diversity and Equity Engagement and assistant professor of sociology at Alcorn State University.
Greenfield has published several academic papers and is author of the widely acclaimed motivational book, "The Answer is in Your Hands." Faculty, staff and students are invited to attend.
The session will be held on Wednesday, March 21 in Section U of the Foster Ballroom in the Colvard Student Union from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. Refreshments will be provided.
