Faculty invited to Fulbright session Tuesday
Fulbright Ambassador Charles A. Johnson, senior vice president for research at Texas A&M University, will visit Mississippi State on Tuesday, Feb. 14 to support the university's growing Fulbright faculty program.
After meeting with senior administration in the morning, Johnson will open an afternoon session for faculty interested in learning more about the Fulbright program. Following his remarks, MSU International Institute staff will facilitate a "nuts and bolts" orientation, featuring a Q & A period and materials detailing Fulbright teaching and research opportunities.
The afternoon session will be held in Colvard Student Union, Room 324 from 2-3:30 p.m.
"Due to teaching schedules and other obligations, faculty are welcome to come anytime during the session," said Stephen Cottrell, assistant director of the International Institute and Fulbright campus representative.
