Athletic website changes name to HailState.com
Mississippi State fans looking for the latest news and exclusive content on the Bulldogs should now point their web browsers or mobile devices to HailState.com.
The new official web address for Mississippi State Athletics was launched last Wednesday, replacing mstateathletics.com, which had been State's Internet home for over a decade.
The switch comes in an effort to better fit the site into MSU's overall marketing plan and also highlight one of State's richest traditions -- the school battle cry/fight song.
In addition to the site's address change, MSU's premium online streaming service is also getting a new moniker. Maroon to the Max is now HailStateTV. Subscribers and fans will continue to access all their favorite video and audio content through the HailStateTV portal.
In addition, new video players have been installed on HailState.com -- both on the homepage and each individual sport page -- to provide fans faster and easier access to live and on-demand content.
Much of the content on HailState.com and HailStateTV will continue to be mirrored on State's official mobile applications for iPhone, iPad and Android devices, in addition to MSU's mobile site, which can now be reached by visiting HailState.com from any mobile device.
In addition, MSU's official online store has become HailStateStore.com.
