“I love being a part of something bigger than myself,” Karissa said. “Conservation is very important to me, and I enjoy being a part of projects and initiatives that directly promote conservation efforts.”
Karissa explained that people should try to understand how essential and helpful the MSU Extension Service can be to the citizens of Mississippi.
“I am so thankful for this job and the people I get to see every day,” said Karissa. “This job has taught me the importance of organization, time management, and creativity.”
She has two degrees from MSU, and she has loved State’s campus and people since her very first day. She is originally from Memphis, Tennessee, but Starkville has become her second home.
