Departments invited to compete in tailgating contest
Mississippi State University's Staff Council is again sponsoring a homecoming tailgating contest for all departments on campus. The third-annual edition of the popular event takes place Friday, Nov. 4 from 10 a.m. to noon.
Participating tailgating parties will be judged for adherence to this year's homecoming theme of "With Praise Our Voices Ring," as well as creativity, originality and school spirit.
Prizes will be given to the top three tailgates. The first prize winner will receive 20 tickets to the Egg Bowl game donated by the Bulldog Club.

Please note:
--Tailgating parties may be held inside or out.
--If multiple departments wish to tailgate together, please be sure to mention that on the registration form.
--Decorations, food and costumes are up to the discretion of participants. Possibilities include balloons, party lights, table settings, face painting and cheers.
--Decorations must not impede access to building entrances and exits.
