Deals on two wheels: Thursday bike auction set
Parking Operations at Mississippi State University will hold its third-annual silent bike auction Thursday, Nov. 3 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the street between Colvard Student Union and the YMCA Building.
During the auction, participants will be able to make a written silent bid on the numbered bike of their choice. Bidders must complete one auction slip per bike (limit four) by submitting their name, MSU NetID, an active email address, the number for the bike on which they are bidding, and the even U.S. dollar amount of their bid. Submitted bid slips will be held in a secure container.
Placing a bid is an agreement to purchase each winning bid. Each top bid winner will be notified via email to the address provided on the auction slip.
Proceeds from the auction go back into the university's bike share program. Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to place a bid for a healthier campus and state.
All bikes are auctioned in "as is" condition. No exceptions.
