Hale promoted to senior legal administrator, director of licensing

Duski Hale is taking on a new role as Mississippi State’s senior legal administrator and director of licensing.
In her new position, Hale is responsible for directing, managing and supervising administrative operations for the university’s Office of General Counsel and the Trademark Licensing Program. She succeeds Sharon Hewlett, longtime senior legal administrator and director of licensing who recently retired.
The Columbus native joined the MSU Office of General Counsel in 2018 as a paralegal/licensing assistant after living in Kentucky for 25 years.
A member of the International Collegiate Licensing Association, she has extensive experience in real estate and mortgage laws; federal, local and state Housing Authority laws; legislative polling, lobbying and advocacy; and tax exemption laws.
