Faculty, staff feedback wanted for research priorities
Vice President for Research and Economic Development David Shaw invites faculty and staff to share their thoughts, ideas, concerns and suggestions for Mississippi State's research priorities by visiting https://w.msstate.edu/research-focus-areas/priorities/index.php.
"Over the course of the past few months, discussions have been underway about how Mississippi State will invest its resources in research in the future. We've developed an initial draft with input from deans, associate deans, and center directors. That draft is now available online, and I invite you to share your thoughts and concerns about the university's research priorities. As I mention on the website, this is the next and most important step in the process," Shaw wrote in a campus-wide "Dear Colleagues" email last Friday [Oct. 13].
The survey is open through Nov. 17.
