Savage named Social Work Field Educator of Year
Angela Savage
Angela Savage, director of field education in the social work program at MSU-Meridian, was honored recently by the Alabama-Mississippi Social Work Education Conference.
She was awarded the 2015 Social Work Field Educator of the Year Award during the organization's annual meeting, which was held in Hattiesburg at the Thad Cochran Center at the University of Southern Mississippi in late October.
Savage holds bachelor's and master's degrees in social work from Southern Miss. She is also a graduate of Northeast Mississippi Community College.
