'SEC Nation' in the Junction for Nov. 14 gameday
"SEC Nation," the SEC Network’s traveling college football morning show, will originate from the Junction on Nov. 14 prior to Mississippi State’s home game against Alabama, the network announced last Wednesday [Oct. 28].
The show airs live from 9-11 a.m. Fans are encouraged to arrive early and wear maroon. The game time will be announced at a later date. The “SEC Nation” lineup features former NFL and Southeastern Conference players Tim Tebow, Greg McElroy and Marcus Spears, host Joe Tessitore, media personality Paul Finebaum and reporter Kaylee Hartung.
Last season, a boisterous crowd turned out for “SEC Nation” prior to State’s 48-31 win over No. 6 Texas A&M. Said Tessitore during the broadcast, “you cannot find a square inch of open grass (in the Junction). It’s the loudest fans we have heard so far in college football this year. It's a truly incredible crowd."
Finebaum called the 2014 scene “one of the most electric and extraordinary environments I've ever experienced covering the Southeastern Conference.”
"SEC Nation" will host a special show next Thursday [Nov. 5] prior to the Bulldogs’ road game at Missouri. The show will originate inside Faurot Field at 6:30 p.m. on SEC Network and lead into kickoff at 8 p.m. on ESPN.
