Dialogue Student Association hosts annual dinner

Students, faculty, staff and community members enjoyed the 10th-annual Dialogue and Friendship dinner earlier this month.

The Dialogue Student Association of Mississippi State University held its 10th-annual Dialogue and Friendship dinner on April 13 in the Hunter Henry Center's Hal and Linda Parker Ballroom. The group works to support meaningful interactions among persons of various faith backgrounds.

The theme of this year’s dinner was “Giving Back to the Community: How Educational Institutions can Foster Civic Engagement.”

The organization presented awards to MSU President Mark E. Keenum for his work promoting service at the land-grant institution, and to the Maroon Volunteer Center for its commitment to community service.

David Morse, professor of educational psychology, and Linda Morse, director of the Center for Teaching and Learning and professor of educational psychology, were also honored for their service to the Student Association at Mississippi State.
