Employee assistance program provides storm info
Mississippi State employees affected by the recent severe weather in the state have an additional resource to turn to for recovery assistance.
Through the university's employee assistance program, MSU faculty and staff may access this free information at www.lifesynch.com/eap by entering MSU as the log-in name and password.
"There is information about how to expedite debris removal from a homesite destroyed by a tornado, how to apply for disaster assistance through FEMA, and food banks established for individuals affected by tornado disaster," said HRM Associate Director Kim Thomas.
"We also have details about counseling, stress management, and financial and legal resources," she said.
