Dev and Alumni Staff Spotlight: Taylor Busby
Taylor Busby
Taylor Busby began working with Mississippi State University in August and since then has greatly enjoyed her time with the Division of Development and Alumni.
Originally from Senatobia, Busby is a May 2013 graduate of Mississippi State. She eared her bachelor’s degree in communication with concentrations in public relations and broadcasting.
Busby puts her degree to use as a communication specialist specifically with Shared Advancement Services. Her role includes creating and maintaining an online presence for the Alumni Association and the MSU Foundation as it relates to social media. She also assists with website management for the division’s four websites, along with producing Alumni News videos and scholarship profile videos.
“I am so blessed that I have been given the opportunity to work for the university I love,” Busby said. “MSU is growing so fast. There is an excitement here and it’s a great feeling just being a part of it!”
When not working, she enjoys reading, dancing and attending MSU sporting events with family and friends.
“I have not missed a home football game in eight years,” Busby says proudly.
She continued, “I made so many memories here is my four years as an undergraduate, but my favorite was traveling to the College World Series my senior year. I can’t wait for the Bulldogs to repeat as finalists next year!”
Busby's office is located at the Hunter Henry Center, and she may be reached at tbusby@advservices.msstate.edu or 662-325-8735.
