Fulbright Ambassador Rachel Stevens' love of art has served as a flying carpet of sorts, inspiring travels to many countries around the world, including her Fulbright to Nepal in 2006. While in Nepal, Rachel studied ancient copper casting techniques with Newari icon makers and sojourned to sites that are sacred to Buddhist and Hindu pilgrims.

The International Institute at Mississippi State University will host Fulbright Ambassador Rachel Stevens for a visit on Nov. 16 from 2-3:30 p.m. in Colvard Student Union, Room 324.

A professor in the art department at New Mexico State University, Stevens will provide an overview to U.S. citizen faculty and administrators holding terminal degrees who are interested in competing for a U.S. Department of State Fulbright scholarship. For more information, please see http://www.cies.org/ambassadors/rstevens.

Please RSVP to Stephen Cottrell at wec3@msstate.edu by Nov. 8.
