Phillips leading family relations conference
School of Human Sciences Assistant Professor Tommy Phillips, currently serving as president of the Southeastern Council on Family Relations, will be leading the organization's annual conference this week.
On Thursday and Friday, experts on family relations from nine Southern states will gather in Birmingham for "We Shall Overcome: Changing the Status Quo for Families in the Southeast," which will focus on the need for positive change for families in the South.
