Moak will address Stennis forum in Jackson
Bobby Moak
House Democratic Leader Bobby Moak of Bogue Chitto will address the Monday [Feb. 3] Stennis Institute-Capitol Press Corps Forum.
The event begins at noon at The Capital Club, which is located at 125 South Congress Street on the 19th floor in downtown Jackson. Pre-registration is required by Friday [Jan. 31] at noon.
Moak has served in the Mississippi Legislature since 1984. An attorney, he is a graduate of the University of Mississippi and the Mississippi College School Of Law. He serves on the following House committees: Banking and Financial Services, Insurance, Judiciary A, Judiciary En Banc, Public Health and Human Services, and Ways and Means.
Among other items, Moak is expected to discuss the Mississippi Achievement Plan, the House and Senate Democratic caucuses' agenda for the 2014 legislative session.
The forum is open to the public. The cost is $20, and it is payable at the door. Please make checks payable to the Stennis Institute.
