Maroon Money Management sessions assisting students
The Maroon Money Management program at Mississippi State University is hosting a series of seminars this fall designed to help students take control of their finances by sharing practical tools and skills.
The next session, “Taking Credit for Your Credit: Credit Card Debt/Management and Identity Protection,” takes place Thursday [Oct. 30] at 3:30 p.m. in the Lloyd-Ricks-Watson Building, Room 50.
Additional sessions include:
-- “Work Hard, Play Hard: Choosing a Profession and Choosing a Profitable Major,” Nov. 6, 3:30 p.m., Lloyd-Ricks-Watson Building, Room 50 and Computer Lab.
-- “Covering Your Assets: Saving, Investing and Protecting Assets,” Nov. 19, 3:30 p.m., Lloyd-Ricks-Watson Building, Room 75.
-- “Two Necessary Evils: Taxes and Insurance,” Dec. 5, 3:30 p.m. Lloyd-Ricks-Watson Building, Room 50.
Participants are encouraged to attend with laptops or iPads, but they are not necessary.
