Sanderson Center natatorium to close for repairs
Over the upcoming fall and winter holidays, the Joe Frank Sanderson Center will undergo some much-needed repairs to the natatorium.
On Monday, Nov. 19, the pool will close so workers may begin attending to the rust and wear that has accumulated in the ceiling. In addition, the deck will be cleaned and the pool floor patched, safety improvements will be made in the pump room. The work will last approximately 45 days. It is anticipated that the pool will reopen with the start of the spring semester.
Many patrons swim on a daily basis, and the university apologizes for any inconvenience this closure may cause. Please feel free to contact the fitness staff in the strength & aerobic conditioning room for workout ideas in lieu of swimming.
Thanks to all patrons for supporting the Sanderson Center.
