ORED Seminar Series: 'Nuts and Bolts of Intellectual Property' Tuesday
Join the MSU Office of Research and Economic Development for "The Nuts and Bolts of Intellectual Property at a Research University," part of the ORED Seminar Series, on Tuesday, Sept. 25 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in Simrall Electrical Engineering Building's auditorium, room 100.
Will Wilkins, J.D., Senior Research Counsel and Meaghin Burke, J.D., Research Counsel, with the Mississippi Law Research Institute will be the presenters.
The first hour will include discussion on patents, copywrite and trademarks: what are they; why do we need them; how do they protect our IP. The second hour will be a discussion on First To File: how does it effect us as a university.
