Road closures planned for Alabama Shakes concert at amphitheater
Several road and parking lot closures will be in place this week for the Alabama Shakes concert at Mississippi State.
Beginning Wednesday [April 26] at 6 a.m., the lane of Stone Boulevard closest to the amphitheater will be closed until Thursday [April 27] at 3 a.m. In addition to this closure:
-- On Wednesday at 6 p.m., all lanes of Stone Boulevard behind the amphitheater between B.S. Hood Drive and Bost Extension Drive will be closed until Thursday at 3 a.m.
-- The side parking lot at the Newell Grissom Building will be closed from 6 a.m. Wednesday until 3 a.m. Thursday.
-- The road between Old Bully Boulevard and Bost Drive will be closed from Wednesday at 6 p.m. until the concert is over to accommodate pedestrians and facilitate traffic flow.
