Breast cancer awareness event coming up Tuesday
Mississippi State’s popular Chadwick Lake Walking Track is the site Tuesday [Oct. 4] for the university’s 2016 Pink Dawg Walk to promote breast cancer awareness.
Sponsored by the Department of Health Promotion and Wellness, the event will take place 4-7 p.m.
Educational stations located along the way will provide free information on exercise, nutrition and self-examinations. A variety of pink-themed snacks will be available.
Also, the first 350 participants completing the circuit will receive a T-shirt.
