Distance Education to host Lunch & Learn session April 14
The Center for Distance Education at Mississippi State invites interested faculty and staff to its Lunch & Learn Series on April 14 in Memorial Hall's Coskrey Auditorium. The topic is Design, Develop & Implement: Creating a Studio-Based Distance Course.
Kris King, an instructional designer at the university's Center for Teaching and Learning, and Dominic Lippillo, an assistant professor of art, will share their insight on best practices in studio-based teaching and providing the learner with hands-on project work and experimentation.
Lunch will be served beginning at 11:45 a.m., and the program will start at noon. Please RSVP to mkt@distance.msstate.edu by April 11.
