International Institute plans study abroad program development workshop
The International Institute's Office of Study Abroad will be hosting a workshop on April 14 at 3 p.m. in 210 Lloyd-Ricks-Watson Building for Mississippi State faculty and administrators interested in learning how to develop a successful faculty-led study abroad program.
In this workshop, participants will learn about the key components that lend themselves to an effective study abroad program including, destination, duration, course and itinerary. Other topics include the proposal process, successful recruiting strategies, and the logistics of leading students abroad. Experienced faculty directors will be on hand to share their expertise.
