McGuire to present 'Metacognition' lecture this week
The Center for Teaching and Learning and the Maroon & Write QEP at Mississippi State will host Saundra McGuire on Thursday [Nov. 5] as this year's Maroon & Write speaker. She will present "Metacognition: The Key to Improving Writing (and Learning) in Every Course."
McGuire, one of the program's most popular previous speakers, is professor emerita of chemistry at Louisiana State University.
A buffet lunch will be provided beginning at 11:30 a.m. This lunch and program will take place in Colvard Student Union's Foster Ballroom with the presentation scheduled from noon until 1:30 p.m.
