New I.D. cards will reflect visual identity standards
Mississippi State I.D. cards are being updated to reflect the university's new visual identity standards. Images of the new card can be seen at http://www.its.msstate.edu/services/campuscard.
Existing ID cards will continue to work, and so there is no need for employees or students to get a new card unless the current card is damaged or not in good electronic working order.
In addition to the updated MSU logo, the holographic laminate that has been applied to the face of the ID cards is being replaced by a stamped M-STATE logo, which functions as a counterfeiting deterrent.
New cards will start appearing on the Starkville campus immediately, and on the Meridian campus within the next several weeks.
