Faculty awards, recognition reception Tuesday afternoon
The 2015 Faculty Awards and Recognition Reception will be held on Tuesday [April 28] at 2 p.m. in the Swalm Chemical Engineering Building in the fourth floor suite. This university-wide awards program is sponsored by the Office of the Provost and Executive Vice President and the Mississippi State University Alumni Association.
The Alumni Association will present the Early Career Undergraduate Teaching Excellence Award, the Graduate Teaching Excellence Award, and the Outstanding Graduate Student Mentor Award.
The Office of the Provost and Executive Vice President will present the Irvin Atly Jefcoat Excellence in Advising Staff Award, the Irvin Atly Jefcoat Excellence in Advising Faculty Award, the John Grisham Master Teacher Award, and the Giles Distinguished Professor Award
The academic deans will also recognize faculty in their colleges who have received prestigious awards during the year.
