International Institute to host presentation about working with USAID
The International Institute at Mississippi State invites faculty and staff who have an interest in international research to a presentation about working with USAID, the lead agency managing U.S. economic and development assistance overseas.
Discussion during the March 26 presentation will include funding priorities, partnership opportunities, and pathways to engagement. It begins at 3 p.m. in Colvard Student Union's Fowlkes Auditorium.
Guest speaker William Riley, an MSU alumnus with a bachelor's degree in political science, is currently a Washington-based consultant to institutions on international engagement in an era of globalization. Prior to that, he served 33 years as a career Foreign Service Officer with USAID, which included 25 years overseas with postings primarily in the Middle East and North Africa.
