General Faculty spring meeting rescheduled for Feb. 16
The spring meeting of the General Faculty at Mississippi State is being postponed for one week, and now it will be held at 2 p.m. on Feb. 16 in Colvard Student Union's Foster Ballroom.
The previously scheduled meeting time would coincide with funeral services for First District Congressman Alan Nunnelee in Tupelo, which President Mark E. Keenum and other university representatives will attend.
The General Faculty program will include reports on topics of general interest to the university community from the president, as well as Provost and Executive Vice President Jerry Gilbert, Vice President for Research and Economic Development David Shaw and Vice President for Agriculture, Forestry and Veterinary Medicine Greg Bohach.
There will also be time for questions and discussion.
