CTL offering 'Best Practices in Online Instruction' course
The Center for Teaching and Learning at Mississippi State is offering "CTL 101: Best Practices in Online Instruction" during the spring semester.
This online training course will highlight best practices in online instruction for both experienced and first-time instructors teaching distance classes. Taught completely online via myCourses, it is designed to address critical issues in online delivery for promoting quality distance instruction.
This course offering will begin Feb. 2 and conclude March 2. It should require about two hours of time each week to complete the modules. Completion of this course leads to certification in distance instruction in the faculty member's credentials file with Human Resources Management.
