Moroccan Ambassador Rachad Bouhlal to visit campus
Join the International Institute on Jan. 20 from 3-4 p.m. in Fowlkes Auditorium in Colvard Student Union as it welcomes Moroccan Ambassador Rachad Bouhlal to Mississippi State University.
Bouhlal will be speaking about the Arab Spring in Morocco and Morocco's strategy in fighting radicalism.
Bouhlal was appointed ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to the United States by King Mohammed VI in December 2011. He previously held several positions, including Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Senior Advisor to the Prime Minister for Economic and Financial Affairs, and Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Investments.
Bouhlal is also a founding member of the Ribat El Fath Association for Sustainable Development.
