Forum to tackle higher ed funding solutions Tuesday
Falling state financial support to higher education and rising student loan debt are national trends of importance to Mississippi State students, faculty, staff and administrators.
Please join the MSU Extension Center for Economic Education and Financial Literacy and the Fall 2014 Honors Forum class for a public dialogue open house poster session on the topic of “Financing Higher Education” on Tuesday [Nov. 18] between 2-3:15 p.m. on the fourth floor of Griffis Hall to explore possible solutions.
Student groups will present their research briefs on the topics, including allocating student loan aid in Mississippi, disbursement of scholarships, and the role of community colleges.
