Grant Resource Center experts to lead Oct. 29-30 sessions
Faculty and staff are invited to join the Office of Research and Economic Development at Mississippi State for a presentation by senior program advisors from the Grant Resource Center on Oct. 29-30.
A unit of the American Association of State Colleges and Universities, the GRC has enhanced the research and sponsored programs capabilities of four-year higher education institutions since 1967. Sessions include:
Wednesday [Oct. 29]
-- 9:30-11 a.m.: Federal Funding Overview: Insight on high priority grant programs; discipline- and agency-based funding opportunity overviews.
-- 11:15-noon: GRC Services Overview: Tutorial on GRC website resources including GrantSearch funded-proposal library, agency fact sheets and more.
-- 1:15-2:15 p.m.: How to Write a Successful Proposal: General guidance on proposal and project development strategies.
Thursday [Oct. 30]
-- 8:30-9:30 a.m.: GRC Services Overview: Tutorial on GRC website resources including GrantSearch funded-proposal library, agency fact sheets and more.
-- 9:45-10:45 a.m.: How to Write a Successful Proposal: General guidance on proposal and project development strategies.

In addition to the sessions, the GRC's Sandra George and Erika Thompson will be available for private consultations to provide guidance on best-fit grant opportunities for faculty members' projects. Advance signup is required.
