Green Zone Initiative training sessions this week
The G.V. "Sonny" Montgomery Center for America's Veterans at Mississippi State will host fall semester Green Zone Initiative training on Wednesday [Sept. 24] from 2-5 p.m. and on Thursday [Sept. 25] from 3-6 p.m. in Colvard Student Union, Room 330.
The Green Zone Initiative encourage awareness of and advocacy for student veterans, service members and dependents at MSU.
Participants in the training sessions will learn how to better mentor or help veterans, service members or dependents. Training will provide basics about how to be an active listener, cover various issues and concerns of veterans, and share resources that can be utilized to help veterans.
