Registration open for Community Emergency Response Team half-marathon, 5K
The Community Emergency Response Team at Mississippi State University is hosting The Preparathon -- a half-marathon, 5K, half-mile family fun run and Emergency Preparedness Fair -- on Oct. 18.
Proceeds from the races will benefit the Oktibbeha County Volunteer Fire Departments, OSERVS (Oktibbeha/Starkville Emergency Response Volunteer Services) and the Salvation Army Emergency Disaster Services.
Online registration is now open at www.racesonline.com/events/preparathon-half-marathon. Space is limited, and early registration is encouraged. Discounts apply for advance registration.
