ITS schedules Monday night network maintenance
Beginning at 10 p.m. on the night of Monday [May 19], Information Technology Services at Mississippi State will be performing maintenance on the university's network infrastructure of the primary campus data centers. The maintenance is expected to be complete by 4 a.m. on Tuesday [May 20].
This work will cause a brief interruption in network service to all servers hosted in these data centers, but the service interruption for each individual server will be no more than 15 minutes. There will be no impact on the data network as a whole, so access to the Internet and Internet2 will be unaffected.
